Individuals are responsible to an extent but society as a whole needs to shift in a more environmentally friendly direction which requires the mass cooperation and/or else governmental or corporate influences.
@9H942Z86mos6MO
People have the overall power to make change, they just have to be dedicated
@9H7N2436mos6MO
They are both important, but governmental and corporate-level changes make a more significant impact on the climate because of how many people it affects and potentially restricts from doing harmful things to the environment.
@9HCDGWF5mos5MO
Individuals are responsible to an extent but society as a whole needs to shift in a more environmentally friendly direction which requires the mass cooperation and/or else governmental or corporate influences.
@9H9ZGL56mos6MO
I think both have an effect on the environment, however large companies are the biggest offenders.
@9H8PQBM6mos6MO
I feel like the environment is impacted by both people and the government more so the government and individual corporations then people
@9HCGWSL5mos5MO
It is equally important for individuals, corporate/businesses, and government to maintain the environment, whether that be from individual actions, or regulations.
@9H8WMN96mos6MO
Individuals need to be more aware of their enviorment but another way to do this is the government taking action
@9H9MGVT6mos6MO
Individual could make an impact, but definitely not a significant one. Corporations create a lot of carbon emission, even more than any of us. They should be held accountable.
@9HBNLWPRepublican5mos5MO
I believe that individual actions and government actions go hand in hand. Individual actions are based on what the government does and government actions are based on what individuals do.
@9HCMHRQ5mos5MO
Although individual actions can still make an impact, governmental and corporate action can make a much bigger impact, and can be integral for environmental preservation.
@9H7PFX66mos6MO
I think that any action will help. I think if the people and governemnt came together it would be better altogether. It is both peoples earth we are talking about.
@9H8QX2C6mos6MO
I think that people can have a significant impact on the environment but changes made on a government level will most likely impact more.
@9HBW6GX5mos5MO
Corporations produce a lot more waste than any individiual, most of the climate and environmental issues are directly caused by these corporations. Even if all civilians were to zero out their emissions, the impact that it would have on the environment would be minimal due to the grand majority of pollution in the world being from companies, especially oil companies.
@9HCD4BX5mos5MO
yes it is both everything and everyone plays a role.
@9HDSLST5mos5MO
While individuals should be mindful of their output, it is nowhere near the same amount that large companies produce. The problem lies at the corporate level, not with us.
@9H7YDW36mos6MO
I do believe that single actions that are all combined with each other do indeed have a vast effect on the climate, and corporations and the government should also change their ways to reduce these things.
@9H83J4D6mos6MO
I believe either of those. Every action that an individual takes is a step closer to destroying the environment, but more important changes should also be made at a governmental level.
@9H8MH8F6mos6MO
It is more of a change at governmental or corporate because those are the bigger whales of the rise of pollution in comparison to a person.
@9HB4V7F 6mos6MO
I believe both have to work together on making the environement better
@9HCBP5G 5mos5MO
I mean yes. If you dump your kitchen grease into the creek behind your house that's not going to be great for the ecosystem. I think that we should be environmentally conscience and do things for the good of everyone but I don't think that the government can regulate that on a government or corporate level.
@9HB55MX6mos6MO
Way more important at a government and corporate level, very little happens one the individual level. Its similar to voting, one vote doesn't make a big difference, but a large amount does.
@9HDN6DW5mos5MO
Yes I believe governments, corporations and individuals have impact, the honest and true reality is that the environment isn't going to significantly improve by these groups its going to improve by these groups funding the true engineers and innovators of the world that will make and find better solutions that will improve the environment.
@9H9VP8Q6mos6MO
I think changes need happen on both levels, but government/corporate level is more substantial.
@9H9Q2MP6mos6MO
I think individual actions can help slightly in that specific area, but not nearly enough to show positive change. Mass change made by associations and groups will by far help way more.
@9HBVFFT5mos5MO
Yes I do think that individual actions can be impactful but I also think the government and corporations should make changes too.
Both need to happen if there’s going to be change. If everyone pitched in, including the government, then a lot of our issues with the climate will at least be easier to fix.
@9HCM65K5mos5MO
It it more important foe changes to be made at a government or corporate level because that is where the biggest change could take place.
@9H82WR46mos6MO
Yes, everyone can make a change, however people often need a leader as most people are followers, if people learn to be leaders they can guide other people to make better choices.
@9HB3Y626mos6MO
I would say both because with Individual Actions it can have a significant impact on the environment, but It will be so much more important for changes to be made at a governmental or corporate level.
@9H9SV4C6mos6MO
Individuals are responsible to an extent but society as a whole needs to shift in a more environmentally friendly direction which requires the mass cooperation and/or else governmental or corporate influences.
Both are important, but at the moment changes need to be made at government or corporate levels because they will make the fastest impact, after the climate crisis has calmed down people can begin to focus more on individual actions.
@9HBM8VH5mos5MO
I think that if we do recycle and use those recyclables it could greatly impact the environment in a positive way. But everyone must take a stand and work together to accomplish this. We do not need all these laws and rules about emissions and electric cars and wind power and stuff. Most of the stuff our government is doing to "protect our environment" is doing more damage than it is helping.
@9HBQCXLRepublican5mos5MO
I believe that corporations do more damage than individuals in the environment. But both side cause damage either way.
@9H9SNNN6mos6MO
People, corporations, and the government can all have impacts, however it is best to regulate impacts at the corporate and governmental levels.
@9HBJXVL5mos5MO
Individuals are responsible to an extent but society as a whole needs to shift in a more environmentally friendly direction which requires mass cooperation and/or governmental or corporate influences.
@9HBCVMF6mos6MO
Individuals are responsible to an extent but society as a whole needs to shift in a more environmentally friendly direction which requires the mass cooperation and/or else governmental or corporate influences.
@9H9VDNB6mos6MO
its important for each individual to do their part in this, but it is far more important for the government/corporate level to make environmental changes. It needs to be a joint effort from everyone.
@9H9RTRP5mos5MO
If enough people come together and do the same thing it can have a significant impact.
@9HCKV7F 5mos5MO
I do believe that individual acts such as recycling or composting food has an impact on the environment as does throwing trash on the ground and not recycling. But it is also important for the government and corporate levels of government to also be making changes to less impact the environment as well.
@9H7JYFLRepublican6mos6MO
Individual actions, while important, are not as impactful as the big corporate companies' output. While they should be pressured to change, I do not believe the government should be involved with it.
@9H9T24M6mos6MO
It is way more important for change to happen on corporate levels and government levels. What the individual does will have an impact, but not a significant one. What really matters is corporations and governments seeking environmental solutions to problems.
@9HBWZHS5mos5MO
I think both are accurate responses. While individual actions will definitely help, government actions can further progress our nation as well. By initiating multiple actions, we can all step towards a better future.
@9HBHNSD5mos5MO
I think individual action can make a difference but it also needs to be done on a govermental level aswell
@9HBBGBZ6mos6MO
Corporate level changes and changes in the practices of the population as a whole, would create a significant impact. Also promoting environmentalism in developing countries would also be beneficial.
@9H9RJWS6mos6MO
While individuals should take steps to decrease their impact of the environment it should also be the responsibility of big corporations and goverment to decrease their footprint as they have the greater impact.
@9HCGWSL5mos5MO
I think that the responsibility of maintaining the environment lies upon everyone including government and businesses
@9HCBB2QPeace and Freedom5mos5MO
I believe that individuals have an impact on the environment, people who use transportation using cars and gas, it hurts the environment because of the pollution. But there should be some changes at a corporate level for people to take it more seriously.
@9H9VSXN6mos6MO
I think that individual actions can be made but it is more efficient for the government to get involved. Protecting the environment is one of the most important issues we need to address.
@9HCHL3R5mos5MO
Yes i do because what we do to the environment has a big impact on it.
